Hark the Herald Angels Sing

I'm on a Christmas card run over here!  This is a card I made a few weeks ago with the September release from Frantic Stampers. Aren't those carolers just fabulous?  I love how the details show on the clean, crisp, white so decided to stick with my CAS style and add a bit of color using patterned paper and a small touch of glitter paper. This die is the Victorian Carolers.

Merry Christmas

Happy Monday!  I did a little shopping a couple of weeks ago with the new Hero Arts catalog to freshen up some of my Christmas stamps. I LOVE collage stamping cards so this set was perfect for me.  I am sure it will see a lot of ink from me for this year's Christmas cards.  The clean layering of stamps is one of my absolutely favorite techniques. Have a favorite of your own?

Merry Christmas

Happy Saturday my friends. I'm enjoying a quiet Saturday morning. Pat is out of town on a golf trip, Jonathon has left for his cross country meet and the two younger guys are in the basement sleeping with a friend they had spent the night last night.  I love quiet mornings (although I wish I could sneak down to the craft room...but I don't want to wake up the little ones).  So...I'm sharing a card I made last week but had yet to share. I'm using a die from Frantic Stamper's September release.  A super easy card using the Holly Square Die.  I'll be making several of these for our Christmas cards!

Hope your weekend allows time for you to create!

Time Out: Thanks

We're back with another challenge at Time Out.  We have a Home Sweet Home challenge that is sponsored by STAMPlorations. The winner will get a $10 gift voucher.  Plus we will do a random draw and the winner of this draw will get the Holiday Expressions:Thankful or the Trendy Leaves 2 stamp set.  I am using the fabulous Trendy Leaves stamps from Stamplorations for my card. I had fun embossing them and then inking them up with a variety of distress inks. I love fall colors!

Below is the inspiration photo that inspired by the fall colors!

Be sure to pop on over to the Time Out Blog to check out how our design team was inspired.  And of course, check out our amazing guest designer Claire!

Curtain Call: Fall Floral

Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at Curtain Call: Fall Floral.  Isn't the inspiration photo below just amazing!  I would love to have a bouquet of flowers like this in our house.  So stunning.  I had fun inking up this Altenew set to make the card. I've borrowed Altenew stamps at my crafty weekends but this is the first set I've purchased.  The details are absolutely amazing. This card went to my sister-in-law a couple of weeks ago for her birthday.  Love the fall colors so, so much!  We're playing along in an Altenew blog hop too!

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!

Forever in Our Hearts

There is something about a clean craft room that inspires me to create!  And a fabulous inspiration photo never hurts either.  When I saw the current challenge over Inspired by the Little Things I knew immediately which set I wanted to pull out to play along. This card very quickly came together and is already in the mail for a co-worker who lost his 95 year old father last week.  His stories of his dad's love filled life were beautiful.
